Today I found a memory usage comparison test for Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 browsers in ZDNet. However, I think the measurement that was used is not appropriate. So, I tried to create the comparison myself, including Opera 9 and Internet Explorer 7 browsers, and the results were... unlike the expectation.

Since we are small, generally we learn English by looking at the original writing, such as "Hi, how are you?". However, some people learn it written as (transliterated) "Hai, hau aa yuu?". Or furthermore, it might be "He, ho a yu?". The pronunciations are different, we can hear nice sounds here ^^

Transportation is a basic need. Almost everyone need to transport from one place to anothers and no exception for me. I used public transportation to travel me from my campus to my house. It took several minutes, but in that several minutes, anything can happen. This is a story about a time when I think I almost got stolen.

Aku menggunakan angkutan kota untuk pulang dari kampus ke rumah. Waktu yang kuhabiskan di dalam angkutan tersebut relatif singkat, tapi apapun mungkin terjadi. This is about an Indonesian student that succedded for the second time to be the first winner in the Google India Code Jam competition in this year 2006 (previously 2005). Ardian pocketted the main prize of 122000 Rs, which is equivalent to more than 2700 USD that will be given using a cheque and he said it will be depositted and used for his future.

Inilah berita tentang Ardian Kristanto Poernomo yang muncul ketika media2 lain belum memberitakannya. Karena kudapat dari tokoh utamanya langsung. Ini tentang seorang anak Indonesia yang berhasil untuk kedua kalinya mendapat peringkat pertama dalam lomba Google India Code Jam pada taun 2006 ini (sebelumnya 2005). For them who are already in university, they must have known what lecture is. The lecturer will stand in front of the class and teach the lessons to all of the students. Other than that there is one more term, which is 'lecture live' which is now being developed by a professor in NTU. Because of this there are only a few students coming to the lecture theatre.

Untuk mereka yang sudah kuliah, pasti mengenal istilah kelas besar atau lektur. Si guru akan berdiri di depan kelas dan menjelaskan materi pelajaran kepada semua mahasiswa. Maybe a surgery specialists using laser (such as LASIK) on your eyes can cure the abnormality, but there is more than one percent chance of failure and you will become blind if the chance hits you. I wonder why NTU doesn't provide POP3 or IMAP for its email server, but only webmail or exchange are provided. So it is very troublesome and I don't want to install exchange on my computer. Therefore I need to check my email using webmail every few days. But if I am waiting for an important email, it's very tiring. I think it's better to use Opera's RSS facility that checks automatically every few hours. That's why I made this, an NTU webmail to RSS converter.

Entah kenapa NTU ga sediain akses POP3 atau IMAP untuk imelnya, tapi cuma ada webmail atau exchange, jadi sangat ngerepotin dan ku ga pengen instal exchange di komputerku. Akibatnya ku perlu ngecek imel pake webmail tiap beberapa hari. Tapi kalo lagi nunggu imel penting, cape deh. Lebih baik pake fasilitas RSS di Opera yang otomatis ngecek setiap beberapa jam. Karena itulah kubuat ini, pengubah webmail NTU jadi RSS.
